Submit a 250 word personal statement describing why the BroadwayEvolved Summer Intensive is the right fit for you.
Submit $85 application fee, resume, and current picture/headshot.
We encourage you to apply as early as possible as this is an intimate experience. This capped small group enables us to give the highest level of personalized attention. The priority application review passed on November 15 and second round applications were due on February 15, 2019 at 11:59 EST. After February 15, all applicants will be reviewed on an ongoing basis. If you choose to submit after February 15, we cannot guarantee spots will remain in your desired Summer Intensive Session.
All priority review applicants received an email update with their application status by January 1, 2019. Second round applicants will receive an email update on their application status by March 1, 2019.
Submitting an application does not guarantee a spot in the BroadwayEvolved Summer Intensive.
+ Who can participate?
BroadwayEvolved hand selects a very small group of students between the ages of 14-18. If you require an exception, please detail it in your application.
+ When is it?
#BEjune - June 17 - June 21, 2019 (5 DAYS) AND #BEjuly - July 29 - August 2, 2019 (5 DAYS)
+ Where is it?
BroadwayEvolved takes place at premiere rehearsal studios, centrally located in Midtown NYC.
+ What should I do for my video submission?
Videos should be 5-7 minutes in length. We prefer a self tape, no videos from shows you have appeared in. Please submit a straightforward video with the following: 1) An introduction of yourself and a brief description of why you would like to attend BroadwayEvolved. Be yourself. 2) Two contrasting songs, minimum 32 bars each that allow us to see both your personality and talent.
+ If I’m accepted, what do I need to prepare?
- 4 complete songs, but you must have 32 bar cuts prepared.

+ Who are the program faculty?
BroadwayEvolved brings together the highest level of program faculty who are truly amazing and inspiring! You will receive the full roster of faculty in your pre-arrival communication, but rest assured we will have current Broadway stars, Tony nominees, and Tony winners mentoring all week.
+ Where do I stay while in NYC?
You are responsible for your own accommodations, but don’t worry there are tons of different types of hotels nearby! We will also provide several suggestions once you’re accepted.
+ Can I commute if I live in CT, NJ, or NY?
You can certainly commute to BroadwayEvolved, but we do require you to be on time each day.
+ What if I can no longer attend and I’ve already paid?
Both the application fee and tuition are non-refundable. However, if you are accepted into the program and have not yet paid your tuition, then you will only forfeit the application fee.
