APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS.
BE NYC // $2995
This year we are accepting applications on a first-come, first- served basis with all spots available immediately. The moment you submit your application, a spot in our NYC program is considered “reserved” for you until the end of the process (approx. 2 weeks).

Share a few sentences describing why you would like to attend the BE NYC Intensive and what you hope to gain.
Submit $15 non-refundable application fee.
Your application fee initiates your application for the NYC summer intensive. The BroadwayEvolved team will review applicants on a limited, first come, first-served basis. By submitting your application, you secure the opportunity to participate in the process.
Once you have submitted your application confirming your spot in the review process, you will have 5 days to email team@broadwayevolved.com your headshot (does not need to be professional) and a 2-3 minute self tape with:
Brief introduction
Sing 2 contrasting songs, 16 bars max each (preferably with accompaniment track) that will allow us to see both your personality and talent. 16 bars is about 30 seconds.
Please be sure to film yourself a couple steps back from the camera so you're in the full frame, but not so far that we cant see you!
If you intend on applying for financial aid, you must submit detailed information in the financial aid portion of the intensive application.

+ Who can participate?
The Summer Intensive brings together a very small group of students between the ages of 14-18. If you require an age exception, please email team@broadwayevolved.com before applying for the intensive.

Summer 1: June 27-30
Summer 2: July 17-20
Summer 3: August 1-4
+ Where is it?
Open Jar Studios - the premier rehearsal studio in New York City.
+ How much does it cost?
$2995
+ Do you have financial aid?

+ Do you provide housing and meals during the intensive?
Your tuition covers the world class training that you receive over our four days together. That includes a light breakfast and lunch each day! We do not provide housing, but our studio is located directly in Times Square surrounded by hundreds of hotels.
+ Can I commute to the intensive if I live in CT, NJ, or NY?
You can certainly commute to BE, but we do require you to be on time each day.
+ What do I need to prepare for the Summer Intensive?
4-6 complete songs, but you must have 32 bar cuts prepared and email accompaniment tracks.
+ Who are the program faculty?
We hire the best of THE BEST to spend individual time and work with YOU. There is a big difference between incredible talents and incredible talents who are also incredible teachers. There is simply no other program that guarantees EVERY CLASS YOU TAKE, you'll work with the highest caliber of world class artists. + What technology do I need in order to participate in the online prep session?
Prep sessions are all online and can be taken at your own pace. There will be 1 live prep session where you will be required to have the following:
- A computer or tablet with an internet connection
- 32 bar cuts of accompaniment track for your songs (we will provide additional information once accepted)
- A second device to play your track
- Headphones to clearly hear the classes and reduce noise in the backgrouond
+ What if I can no longer attend and I’ve already paid?
Both your application fee and tuition are non-refundable. However, if you are accepted into the program and have not yet paid your tuition, then you will only forfeit the deposit.
COVID SAFETY PRECAUTIONS.
Your safety and the safety of our faculty and staff are of the utmost importance.
When you arrive at the start of the intensive you will be required to take a rapid antigen test provided by BroadwayEvolved on the first day before entering the studio. At this time, masks are optional.
+ What happens if I test positive for COVID?
You cannot attend the intensive if you are COVID positive. If this is the case then we will offer a credit that may be used towards another 2024 intensive or transfer your enrollment to the 2025 intensive.
